Why isn’t Brett Kavanaugh demanding an FBI investigation?

Is it because lying to the FBI is a crime?

Pretty much. Plus Kavanaugh has a lot of skeletons in his closet as well which could be pulled up if he does demand an fbi investigation. Aside from that Dr. Ford also spoke with her therapist about this incident six years ago. It’s not like she’s lying. I mean why would Ford want an fbi investigation if she is?
