DiFi doesn't have a "duty" to send the President a birthday card.

Trump and his staff simply don't know how to properly vet anyone.

Or, more likely, much, much worse. @beckyromero

Sadly if government Feinstein would have immediately share the information and if appropriate the nominee action would have been withdrawn and someone new nominated. If the facts show attempted rape I vote no. Until the facts show K’s “conspiracy theory”I vote no on that too. @beckyromero @KaTeeEvent

Maybe to written in statute “public duty” as I asked but I think a duty as a human. @beckyromero

@jackjjackson absolutely agree. It’s being handled correctly with Judge Kavanaugh and the accuser undergoing specific scrutiny. We are all innocent until proven otherwise and that is the intent. Feinstein’s actions maybe were tinged with political idiocy. The matter at hand this moment is if there is substance to the claims.

Agreed. The facts come out and decisions are made based on full disclosure. I supposed because that is so obvious our friends in DC don’t understand it lol 😀 @KaTeeEvent

Understand, of course, that the woman initially agreed to disclose what happened to Feinstein under the agreement of complete anonymity and not to be shared with anyone. Period. She only recently agreed to speak openly. Bringing the president into the fold? Ridiculous. It’s worse than akin to allowing the fox into the henhouse.

Understand too the long wait by her was not premeditated. Imagine the pain, humility and embarrassment of a 15year old girl..... if there is validity of course.

For sure. I’d say the clock began ticking omly when she had the breakthrough at the couples weekend sometime between 2002 and 2010. Thr President isn’t involved at this point. It’s only the Senate and the Judiciary Committee. I suppose for some Dems any timee is a good time for a pot shot at the President. For now I am assuming that since Kavanaugh went under scrutiny when appointed as a circuit judge the president was not aware nor should he have been of any of this. It is Dr Ford’s information to share and only hers. @KaTeeEvent

Given that Kavanaugh has NOT withdrawn AFTER the contents of the letter was made public just what makes you think he would have withdrawn had the contents of the letter NOT have been made public?

If I were a senator, I'd want to hear both sides. And if I thought the woman was being truthful, I would NOT vote to confirm.

Agreed. If the facts result in the conclusion of attempted rape he is disqualified. @beckyromero

Bravo Becky. Now why can’t our politicians be forthright, courageous and stand on principle and not political mumble jumbo? The latest as directed and explained by Sen. Grassley is the FBI will not investigate during the hearings and no other witnesses called, including the guy who alleged was with Kavanaugh at the time.@beckyromero

Why would she offer to testify and the. Withdraw the offer after it was accepted and the testimony scheduled? @beckyromero @KaTeeEvent

Let’s see what actually takes place. Personally, I feel there’s growing intention to make the hearing political and that’s by both sides. It’s obviously a very personal decision that was made by Dr. Ford with decades of unease. Did she know it would only be two parties testifying? Did she believe the fbi would be involved and witnesses called? Turning it into a “shit show” is a very real possibility@jackjjackson
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Dr Ford has now demanded an FBI investigation be actually completed prior to her considering testifying. That has created a shitshow if you ask me. @KaTeeEvent
KaTeeEvent · 36-40, F
And how do you feel about Judge K. being investigated by the FBI? The man will be making extraordinary decisions with extraordinary power for the rest of his life. Shouldn’t the charge by Dr. Ford be scrutinized or are we all caught up in the politics of this affair?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
The FBI has said it hypothetically would be a waste of their time based on what she has said. They can’t evaluate her statements. There were three people allegedly involved on somedate and place she says she does not know. That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. She testifies and she said she wanted to and the American public hears her story, the questions and answers and anything else presented. Where is the problem. @KaTeeEvent
KaTeeEvent · 36-40, F
None at all. I think she should testify, give her version of the events and I’m sure it will be cathartic for her and the rest of the nation. I believe though she has gone through a numbing event if all is true that is especially significant to all women, hence getting to the truth at all costs. I’m not downplaying a man’s feelings on the issue at all but understand there’s something in it that I believe effects a woman differently.

Well stated. She testifies on Monday is respectfully treated. That’s what she said she wanted to do. @KaTeeEvent
