I don’t trust any of them. We are all being collectively manipulated with the media being used as a weapon.

I’m convinced the White House already knew about his history before the nomination. It’s a giant game of chicken.

Diane is one of the worst of the entrenched boorish Democrats. I trust her as far as I can throw her old fat ass.

But, this process... it lacks candor and lacks honor.

What do you propose the next steps are with the nominee?@JoeyFoxx

I agree with everything except speculating what the WH knew. When appointed to the Circuit position Javanaugh had been investigated. @JoeyFoxx

@KaTeeEvent I honestly don’t know.

He has s fairly straightforward legal history. He leans right, but there is no evidence in his rulings that he misinterprets the constitution.

This thing he supposedly did in high school was abhorrent. If it’s true. Does it reflect his current day character?

Is it worse than what Justice Thomas did?

It’s easy for many people to judge based on limited facts. I’m not sure about this one.

@jackjjackson yeah And the WH has no history of promoting people with questionable backgrounds...

🙄

Then I propose let those who specialize in the task dig a little deeper just so a cloud never lingers as it has over Justic Thomas since the days of Bush Sr.

We don’t know as a fact what happened. We may have a basis to form a reasonable opinion after the testimony and questioning. My mind is open. Attempted rape if that’s what happened is a disqualified no question. Let’s get all the information and not guess otherwise it’s just partisan politics. That I detest on both sides. @jackjjackson @JoeyFoxx @KaTeeEvent

As I said the subject of this thread is what should have happened when the letter was received. @JoeyFoxx

And as I have implied here, that’s not the simplest question to answer.

It’s a dirty game and the WH misuses facts regularly.

Most people agree that telling the truth is preferred. But most will also agree that lying to a killer tomsave one’s own life is also preferred.

So, I would prefer that our “leaders” don’t manipulate the process.

But Trump has established a brand new pattern of being disingenuous.

Who’s to say how people should behave with the new normal?

Trump wants to do away with old school politics.

Fine. Be careful what you wish for

We previously agreed that neither side has the high ground lets leave it at that @JoeyFoxx

Re Justice Thomas that’s beyond the scope of this appointment. However the Senate has the power to investigate and possibly impeach him. Like the Kavanaugh case, the more that is in the public domain for the decision makers to act on the better. @KaTeeEvent
