I have a suggestion: if you don't like the hearings, don't tune in. Plenty of other nind numbing stuff to inhale. Have you tried the "Bachelor", "Bachelor in Paradise", "Naked Dating", "Housewives of LA", "Housewives of Atlanta", "Duck something..."....

@Northwest i want you to think about something. Do you honestly believe these hearings will change one Senator's mind? Even if they were required by the Constitution, they wouldn't matter. You know as well as I the Senator's minds are already made up.
And the closest to any reality show I have watched are shows along the lines of Monster's Garage, American Chopper, Great Biker Build Off, etc. Try again.

You're not seeing the big picture. It's not about whether or not a specific senator is going to change his/her mind. Unfortunately, their politics pre-determines how they will vote.
I's the process that's at stake, and the precedent it might establish, in modern times, at a time when the SCOTUS is just another political tool.
