Are Trump's Lies Becoming Even More Blatant?

This morning he tweeted that the GDP was higher than the unemployment rate for the first time in over 100 years! The only problem with that is that it isn't even close to true. In the past 70 years, there have been 62 quarters where that is true. In other words, over 22 percent of the time, the GDP has been higher than the unemployment rate over a quarter. And while a high GDP and low unemployment is good, they measure completely different things and are never compared by economists.

Does Trump even care that his continuing lies are so easily debunked?

I like how everything is childishly exaggerated using the words "in history". He always says I'm the best "in history" or she is the worst "in history"

The biggest concern I have is he is trashing the concept of free speech. It’s the sign of a dictator to muzzle the press and channel everything through one single source controlled by the dictator. To suggest the press is the enemy of the people is absurd. All press in any free society is tribal, it beholds the reader or listener to decide the truth themselves not to listen to one over sensitive, devisive man or read his Twitter rantings.

It is appalling! I can't believe he has managed to convince everyone that he and some extreme factions are the only source of the truth and all else is lies. I think we are now living in one of the most pivotal points in modern history. @Stonehenge

It appears you two lovebirds enjoy exaggeration. @Stonehenge @JimboSaturn

Not exaggeration, it’s a contagion. Everyone is at it now. Saudi Arabian butchers, Putin over nerve gas attacks. Trump even disagrees with the CIA. Trump is an ignorant moron, unfit to hold high office in a great nation. Modern day Hitler.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Stonehenge Obviously and patently unfit for office. However, adoring loyalists like our friend Jack will support him to the bitter end, no matter how much damage he does.

@Stonehenge Trump takes whatever noun is thrown at hime, and applies his standard bullshit template to it.

In California, a few days ago, someone asked him if he changed his mind on the environment. His response:
No, no, I have a strong opinion. I want a great climate. We're going to have that, and we are going to have forests that are very safe because we can't go through this. Every year we go through this. We're going to have safe forests, and that's happening as we speak.
You could have said potatoes. Replace climate with potatoes, and that would be Trump's comment on potatoes.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
yes I have heard that similar response! that same meaningless repetitious nonsense @Northwest

You lovebirds are good at name callIng. Unfortunately for you when it comes to the real Presidenting you are not able to name a single bad PRESIDENTIAL action. @Stonehenge @windinhishair @JimboSaturn
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
Well yes I can. Getting out of every environmental agreement, burning more coal, kicking news correspondents out of the Whitehouse, not condemning racists, detaining children, and the list goes on and on.

Plus we are not lovebirds we simply share the same ideas.

Our friend Jack got pissed off when I said Trump lacked class. He send a rather unflattering image of our future monarch. Well here’s another which shows what class really looks like. Trump couldn’t even turn up at a military cemetery in France where tens of thousands of American soldiers are buried in case his hair fell out or the dye turned his face yellow. Oh, speaking of yellow, he dodged the draft too. Okay Jack!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Stonehenge The only way "class" and "Trump" belong in the same sentence is "class action lawsuit against Trump." He truly is one of the most despicable human beings out there. Did you see yesterday that on our Thanksgiving, when talking to the military, he gave thanks for himself? That tells you what you need to know about the man.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Correct the person on the left has class.

@Stonehenge
Stonehenge · 80-89, M
On the left? I’ve looked, there is nobody on the left, there is this guy you show below who can’t believe you can support a moron who has a problem with his hair? I think that expression is one of pity!
Stonehenge · 80-89, M
Yep, that’s class!

That crew on both sides of the political divide who stood in the US primaries were the worst bunch of no hopers in history, so it wasn’t strange to see a big mouth opportunist like Trump to see his chance and fill the vacuum. Sad that section of US society were taken in by fear and hatred and elected him. Sadly nothing has changed and you’re saddled with that ignorant moron probably until 2024. God help us all. As for the photos Jack, wait till the vids in that Moscow hotel leak out! From what I heard it was quite a leak too. 😂

How is Theresa May and Brexit working out for you?
@Stonehenge
Stonehenge · 80-89, M
Trying to agree something which headlining politicians said would be easy. It isn’t but we’ll leave with or without a deal. Personally I couldn’t give a toss any more. I’m sick of hearing the word Brexit
