Booker plays martyr and pretend hero and lies when the documents he leaks are actually unclassified. Harris edits video to pretend someone else’s words are those of Judge soon to be Justice Kavanaugh.

Both had to know their stunts was so obvious they would get caught out right?

Which stunt was better? Worse? Why?

@jackjjackson Sure it will, but they're gambling that it's better than being seen as doing nothing and allowing a corrupt President to appoint a young ideologue who just happens to have written stuff that seems like he might be a cinch to help Trump's own future legal problems.

I don't think it's a good play, but it is third and long, the democrats are down big before half time and there is something to be said for just throwing the ball instead of running a draw play.

@jackjjackson I said stuff that seems like, not any kind of an admission.

Fact is, I'm always annoyed by these hearings, no be matter who's on the plate and don't remember exactly what they found that they thought was so significant on executive immunity. All I remember was raising my eyebrow and then shrugging.

Hopefully Justice Kavanaugh will uphold the Constitution. I've got little hope he'll do it the way I'd like him to, but if he does it at all, and isn't more personally loyal to Trump than he is to the country, I'll be ok, even if I whine.

I'm wondering though, if it wouldn't be a hoot to not let Congress do the questioning and law professors do it instead.
