@HoraceGreenley "The police aren't there to create disorder. They're there to preserve disorder." - Chicago Mayor Richard Daley during the 1968 Democratic convention
@HoraceGreenley Well, apparently liberal logic is repeating easily debunked lies inside the echo chamber. http://www.irumormill.com/conspiracies/Sheila-Jackson-Lee-Homicide.htm
@HoraceGreenley "But obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies. -- Sarah Palin
"It's three agencies of government I would do away with— the education, uh, the, uh, commerce and let’s see. I can’t... the third one. Oops." -- Rick Perry, head of the Energy Department he forgot
@HoraceGreenley Since you're not likely to follow Graylight's link, I'll write the pertinent info here. This is Rep. Jackson Lee's full quote: "Homicide is the leading cause of death IN AFRICAN-AMERICANS." You can't prove someone's idiocy by leaving out half of what they said.
@MissPriscillaPrim It’s not just omission that’s the problem there - but a blatant misquote that dramatically changes the meaning. And yet the offender will likely keep on posting that meme.
@HoraceGreenley You have plenty of material that shows what other than your blatant disregard for facts? Oh wait...you're a trumper, so it's a yuge and bigly part of the MO..Even annonismly.
@MissPriscillaPrim He was speaking about a Police riot in Israel, not the convention, and he said it proving the protestors claims that the police came to the site with the intention of breaking heads and inflicting massive casualties. Just fyi. 😉
@Graylight I only knew the Daley quote from Robert Anton Wilson, who didn't mention the Israel background story... interesting, but it doesn't change the malapropism (and possible Freudian slip).
@HerKing Well, while we're talking about misquotes, I want to be fair and readily admit the trump-baby's "bigly" was proven false; with careful listening one can hear he said "big-league."
