The poll is surprisingly accurate. 42 approve/53 disapprove average in Real Clear Politics verses 37 approve/57 disapprove here.

Conservatives don't like to think about the popular vote totals because it reminds them that even when they all voted and liberals stayed home, they're outnumbered by 3M people.

@MarineBob I was just remarking on the numbers now, not the last electoral college poll which had more votes in Clinton's column, but it wasn't a prediction when you count things like toss-ups.
