The level playing field of the internet has been tremendous, and I'd love to see it continue. But we choose to live in a capitalist society, where advertising is more powerful than God, quite literally.

Radio isn't neutral, TV isn't neutral, cinema isn't even neutral. It was really simply a matter of time before the internet fell into the grasp of advertisers too.

As much as I'd love to blame Trump and his administration, who did pull the trigger on this legislation, it's our voracious consumer society that bears the blame for this one.
