@fairone You know, those people that carried those " MAKE LOVE NOT WAR SIGNS". None of them looked like they were capable of doing either one! I was raised by an extreme fringe group of counter culture types, so I have a little chip on my shoulder. By the time I was 14, I was convinced that "hippie" was short for 'hypocrite', but dayum! I love the music! I love the intention. It's just that people are people. No matter what the circumstances are, we are always going to have an "Us vs them" scenario, and we are always going to be confused as to who exactly "Us" is , and who exactly "them" is, and we are always going to pretend that we are NOT the least bit confused about it! I love this song. It's a bit abstract, but it tells the story of the cliche of "finding one's self".
