Steve Bannon is coming to educate Australians!

Yes. Trumps Early Mentor is travelling down under on a speaking tour spreading his message of right wing hate and vitriol. Rest assured he will get a warn "G'day" welcome here as we watch our "Right wing" (by our standards) government self destruct its way out of office at the next election. We also note the US Twit in chief has now cancelled his planned visit as well as an Asean Trade conference. Seems they were talking big numbers and not enough about him.

It will be like teaching a special ed school, do you know how dumb and ignorant the majority of the Australian population is? And sad to say about my own kind but it’s true.
@SW-User Any more dumb and ignorant than many people in the US?

Sure I do.. But since we are obliged to vote, everyone looks at least to their own self interest and who will serve it. Or who will serve it least.@SW-User

In fairness, probably not.. But most of us start with less belief in our nation right or wrong than some Americans. We know this place isn't perfect.. Its just pretty good./@ForgottenLore37

@SW-User I’ve been there (Brisbane) and all people that I have met surprised me by their political awareness.

@helenS it’s only recently people are starting to see through the bullshit, but we still have a lot to learn, especially about the genocide and slavery our country was built upon.

In some ways its like America in that the big city people are pretty savvy, mostly. But the country folk amore conservative and died in the wool. But, the difference is we have relatively few country folk. Outside of the cities is almost empty.@helenS

All true, sadly.. And little different from many other white settled countries. We have a shameful past.@SW-User

@whowasthatmaskedman There have been horrible and shameful events in the past of almost every country.
