Steve Bannon is coming to educate Australians!

Yes. Trumps Early Mentor is travelling down under on a speaking tour spreading his message of right wing hate and vitriol. Rest assured he will get a warn "G'day" welcome here as we watch our "Right wing" (by our standards) government self destruct its way out of office at the next election. We also note the US Twit in chief has now cancelled his planned visit as well as an Asean Trade conference. Seems they were talking big numbers and not enough about him.

“ we watch our "Right wing" (by our standards) government self destruct its way out of office at the next election

— Is that a realistic perspective or just wishful thinking?

By the latest polls, a prediction based on fact, considering they have a one seat Majority at this time.@helenS

@whowasthatmaskedman That’s good news indeed. Here’s hope that this present darkness in so many civilized countries will soon be over.

Amen to that. Pendula do tend to swing. I suspect Americas example is a lesson to many of us. Enough!@helenS

I think there’s a lot of distrust, both of the major parties in Australia are similar, dishonest and continue to change their leader who the people voted for. Sadly I know many people who have moved further right or left because of this. What the liberal party did last week was childish and selfish, nobody wants that in a party that’s leading a country @whowasthatmaskedman

Agreed. And the fallout continues, with one liberal announcing she will not recontest and a prediction of others to follow, believing they will lose anyway. Even Dutton is polling poorly in light of his perceived double standards. Australians don't like someone using their powers unfairly.@Chyka

@whowasthatmaskedman thank fuck that cold hearted prick Dutton didn’t end up Prime Minister. I wonder how many elections we are going to have where they decide to change PMs mid term with votes decided only by government officials rather than the people having the right to call for an early election? It happened when we voted in the Milky Bar kid only to be replaced by Juliar Gillard, then K.Dudd back again and without the people’s vote, then Abbott (churchee homophobe pissant) was only voted in by a hung vote and was up to which seat some political wanker sits in to break the hung vote, then once again he was replaced by Talkbull, and now we have ScoMo without our vote, ScoMo is all about heavy surveillance and net censoring, so that’s concerning, but Dutton is the kind of bloke who would rather seperate a child refugee from its mother and drive it to suicide instead of offering asylum (he is home affairs and minister of immigration too) and offers immunity for one of his mates to get a visa so he and his wife could work here despite not being eligible. What’s next for AU? A reincarnation of Hitler?

Get used to Bill Shortbread. Until Anthony Elbowknees replaces him.@SW-User

@whowasthatmaskedman and these prime ministers couldn’t care less about being stood down and taken over by another, they still get their $300,000 annual pension after leaving parliament.

Well at least they get to fly business free, so they don't have to listen to the taxpayers complaining.@SW-User

@whowasthatmaskedman not free, our tax pays for their first class flights.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Sorry. I should have been clear. We pay for them not having to mix with us.@SW-User

@whowasthatmaskedman but still free in their eyes despite it coming from the blood and sweat of a hard working Aussie.

If you are looking for an argument, you are in the wrong queue. My situation is good. I am fortunate. But if one of my kids told me they were going into politics I would disown them. That kind of privilege is just wrong.@SW-User
