Anyone else not impressed with Australian politics?

With yet another farcical situation occurring in Australian politics, people around the world must look at Australia and wonder what on earth our politicians are doing! There seems to be a leadership spill way too often!

As an Aussie I can say what's happening with our governmnet now and has happened on three other occasions in the last 10 years (on both sides of politics) is disgusting.

Over here the entire electorate is absolutely furious, irrespective of political values.
It is a certainty that we will vote the incumbents out at the next election which will have to be called early next year.

Labour will get in with a resounding majority, meaning they will have the freedom to get all their policies enacted unopposed.

This should act as an excellent lesson to the Liberals (conservatives) about the cost of not mending differences and uniting behind their leader.

However, the differences are so strong that they may possibly split into two separate parties. No one has publicly mentioned that possibility yet. If it happens, their chances of forming a government at any time in the future may become remote.

I agree with everything you’ve said! I wonder if people will vote for the likes of one nation? Because let’s not forget the whole Rudd-Gillard fiasco the Labor lot went through!!its such a risk when politicians act so amateurish -they should have far stricter rules on leadership challenges.@hartfire
