@FreeSpirit1 That's actually true. You have to be a "natural born citizen," in Jefferson's words. "Native American" is one of those phrases, like "Christian Science" and "Social Justice Warrior," that has come to mean something quite different from what the words themselves indicate. In this case it's the descendants of the people who were here before the Vikings.

@Notmesam A lot of white people have that too. By those standards we may have had one already. I woudn't be surprised one way or the other.
