I wish people would stop praising Lebron James for "his" school

Sorry but it is a school that is largely paid for by taxpayers. NOT Lebron James or his foundation.

Oooh, lookie... someone's ignorance is showing!!!

Of course, taxpayers will be required to pay at least part of the cost, it is a public school - which means that tax payers would be required to pay something to ensure that it remains what it is as well as being usable as intended.

Just a nugget of information for you to consider, Mr Ignorant... did you know that it would have been illegal for the foundation to fully fund the project - even if they had wanted to??? Yes, that does mean that tax payers were going to have to foot the bill regardless of the foundations help or not, the only difference is that his involvement has now released tax money that can be used on other things as opposed to the school that it was once earmarked for.
