The countries Trump called "shitholes," Haiti and Somalia, are conservative wet dreams. No taxes. No regulation or worker's rights. No minimum wage. No due process. No immigration. They even burn witches in Somalia. Republican paradise. Make America great again, like Somalia.

And if you stop to think a little bit longer about it, the only reason America is what it is today is because 'shit hole' countries that allow their people to be exploited by American corporations exist.

If you dig in further still, you will find that our government has been doing plenty to make sure that these countries never become anything but shit holes, only the piles of shit are corporate gold mines.

It is sick and almost nobody believes it... and most of the people who do believe it because the American way is not to admit that the enslavement of others is how we maintain our illusion of freedom. I say illusion because whenever anybody points out our lack of freedom, everyone points to shit hole countries and essentially says "shut up, you have it way better than them".
