How is it totally legal to commit adultery in the western world?

I'm not saying we should stone men or women to death like in the middle East or West Africa... but to have it toally legal with no consequences to me is insane. This is something that can cause suicide and causes massive suffering.

Its a CIVIL court matter. And to involve criminal courts in private marital affairs would be EXTREMELY stupid
