Trump to WEAKEN Airport Security

CNN exclusive: TSA considering eliminating screening at smaller airports
Washington (CNN)The Transportation Security Administration is considering eliminating passenger screening at more than 150 small and medium-sized airports across the US, according to senior agency officials and internal documents obtained by CNN.

CNN terrorism analyst Paul Cruickshank said it was "stunning that this is even seriously being considered."

"Al Qaeda and ISIS still regard aviation as a priority target -- that includes aircraft where you have fewer than 60 people on board," he said. "They would see that as a way to hit the headlines. They would see that as a way to inflict severe economic damage on the United States. If you have an aircraft of 50 or so people being blown out of the sky there is going to be a great amount of panic and there will indeed be significant economic reverberations, and of course significant loss of life."

"This is so dangerous," a TSA field leader at a large airport said. The individual is not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
First, he's in bed with the RUSSIANS.

Now, he's in bed with ISLAMIC JIHADISTS to make America airports, cities and citizens an EASIER TARGET for them.

The DCCC is TOO STUPID to do it, but if I were in charge of the message I'd be cutting new ads in the morning showing the effects of the 9/11 disaster and how TRUMP wants to WEAKEN America's defense against terrorist attacks.

...
UPDATE:
Screw the DCCC.

I'm not waiting for them to get off their collective lame assess and get their act together.

I'm all for security at airports, but until TSA employees can be trained to properly screen passengers without getting ridiculous and until they have been demonstrated to make a difference in the safety of our air travel, I agree with the plan to scale them back as well.

I've argued with agents about a couple ounces of shampoo while my metal sharpened nail file sails right through. I've gotten pocket knives through on multiple occasions, though having a bad knee causes a date-night security check for which I have to build in 15 minutes every single time I fly.

@jackjjackson I had a small knife that doubled as a keychain. It was great for emergencies, as a tool and it's not a bad idea for a woman to have some defense. Not one airport I travelled to picked it up as dangerous even though in plain sight.
