@Pherick it's so sad. Why can't people have different opinions without being considered the enemy. It's your fellow American. In my opinion..the downfall of America...the disrespect within. Just like your beloved news wants it.

@Wurkoutgurl I actually don't consider conservatives my enemy, I have certain topics that I lean conservative on.

Fox News just gets to me with their blatant right-wing apologizing. I don't particularly like any 24 hour news source. There really isn't 24 hours of news a day so that mean you have to have some filler, and the more filler you get, the worse it gets.

@Pherick the news on either side gives you crap so you'll stay angry and hate. A nation divided is much easier to control. The division in our country is so sad.

@Wurkoutgurl I'll tell you why. When opinions are formed and cultivated based on lies and emotion, those opinions are rendered moot. Asking people to disregard FACTS, in an attempt at being "open minded to other views" is ludicrous.

@Ynotisay I don't watch the news. I don't disrespect. It doesn't matter what side your on, I'll respect you. That's really what matters. While people are busy hating each other so many other overlooked things are happening.

@Wurkoutgurl My issue with your mentality is that there are really issues that one side does NOT deserve respect.

Flat Earth people, their side deserves no respect. White Supremacy, their side deserves no respect. Ripping families apart, deserves no respect.

By trying to force respect where none is deserved we give a layer of respectability these horrible sides.

@Wurkoutgurl I TOTALLY agree about the distraction that takes place. I've worked in and around the media for a long time so I get it. But I will say that the distraction that ensues doesn't negate the truth. There ARE outlets out there that work extraordinarily hard to get to the facts. You can believe what they report. The problem comes when people willingly choose to disregard the truth in lieu of their beliefs. That's a very different dynamic.

@Pherick I work in a world where I don't know your beliefs, I don't know you personally but I fight for you daily. Black supremacists, white supremacists, flat Earth, round earth, trump, no trump, crazy feminist,police officer, police hater...I still fight for you. It's okay to disagree. If everyone thinks its okay to disrespect because you don't agree...well,you have current America. To me, that's not okay. Humans as a whole deserve respect. Disagree respectfully.

@Ynotisay I can't watch the news. So much is bullshit and opinions. I'd love to know where I could find just the truth. But even so, I'd never disrespect my fellow American because of differing opinions.
