Trump is in London and there is a yuuuge demonstration planned for tomorrow.
Do any of my fellow Brits like Donald Trump? How do Americans feel about the demo?

I'm no fan of his but I'm a bit embarrassed of the uproar caused by his visit. We've had some awful people visit this country of ours with very little fuss made. If we are doing this for Trump we should have done the same for others. He won't give two hoots either. We need people to intelligently debate him and his followers not make a circus out of it.
@LvChris maybe he isn't but a lot of his voters are. There is hysterical support on both sides as there is with Brexit. I'm very much on the left and voted remain yet I can see the fault in policies etc
@SW-User Some interesting points but I fully support the protest. We are giving a red carpet state visit to the worst president of all time. Yes we should protest against other people too.
@LvChris this is the kind of thing that alienates the different sides of the debate. Just like some on the remain side saying most people didn't know what they voted for with Brexit. It's quite arrogant to think someone is completely wrong because they have apposite views.
@LvChris I agree some. But a lot of people maybe not so much yourself will call all people in the right idiots and all people who voted leave idiots. Some are, I know a few, however, there are some with good reasons for their voting decisions.
@LvChris I think the ones you find online are possibly not a representative sample. Some are like that, maybe a lot. I don't call people stupid unless they have I silted me though.
@SW-User That's what i'm suggesting. Protest smarter. Do things that might have a subtle impact rather than have him turn round at a news conference tomorrow and call Britain a country of football thugs !
@Burnley123 Like i say, think smarter ! He thinks (or at least, acts) like he's got everyone over a barrel ! Because he has (with regard to his Presidential order book) and his tariffs. Well. We may not have the same 'power to deny money'. But we do get to choose where we go to eat; which movies we watch; what products we buy; magazines we buy..... Think smarter !
@SW-User The problem with your idea is that you’re assuming *45 can “intelligently debate.” I think everybody in the world who opposes *45 should be in the streets frequently.
@Picklebobble2 Just so you know: Trump and Breitbart (his personal cheering squad) will call your protestors something along those lines no matter how they behave.
