Anyone else have the impression people are complaining about Kavanaugh not because he is a good or bad judge

Well, lgbt+ rights are fairly important to me, and he's had the support of an anti-lgbt+ group for many years, so of course I'm not thrilled. I feel incredibly lucky to not be American right now. I want to marry my girlfriend at some point. If he's confirmed, who knows how much longer American gay couples will have that right.
