Trump has picked him because he's gone on record as saying a POTUS should be immune from prosecution. However that works both ways and the Trumpers who think that Obama should stand for some unspecified trial would be drawing a blank because it would no dout be written into Trump's favour he couldn't be prosecuted after holding office.

@HerKing he also had an opinion that the Obama care penalty was a tax and not a fine which is how the supreme court ruled. He will be painted as an extremist by the democrats the same way republicans paint all Democrat nominations. It's all a show.

@FreeSpirit1 If it were only a show it would be fine, but these can stay in office until long after our children are having their own children. It matters. It matters greatly. The SCOTUS shouldn't be chosen down party lines at all.
