China owns the US.
It’s obviously not that simple. Because the USA wants to become isolationist and threaten every ally with tariffs thanks to Cheeto face, China has an easy path to boosting their own economic and trade interests.
US economy would boom
The world still needs to eat
The world needs the US currency
The world needs the US technology
Low cost production can be achieved anywhere
Remove the subsidized labor element ... and the capital/labor/technology paradigm would shift to capital and technology ... of which the US is first in both

Most probably it will. US was build on hard work of talent coming in, however if you keep shunning them off then they will flock to another place.

I din't think it will crash.. Suffer certainly.. The big risk is China calling in the bonds or not buying more
Graylight · 51-55, F
It doesn't have to crash. It only has to hurt us deeply in an economic sense. We'll do the rest.

If China isn't stronger now, it will be by the end of the Trump Abomination.

basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
It's going to be that way if trends continue. China is ever expanding. The US is stagnating.
