It’s not that difficult to understand. The USA is gigantic in economy, land, and raw materials...
We have every ability to be self sufficient. Making ourselves, in essence, our own customers would make our country rich. A USA/ China trade war would be VERY good for USA and VERY bad for China. It’s time we level the playing field. Fair is fair.

@Graylight lol those are just people who disagree with the policy... it doesn’t dispute the facts which is AMERICA is the prime financer of the world’s economy and its protection of peace.

It’s quite clear that the USA is hemorrhaging money at the whim of the rest of the world... between our trade deficit with China and our imbalance of defense spending with nato, that’s 1,000,000,000,000 (Trillion) just from last year!! And that’s only 2 variables!!!
