It's strange you parse it that way.
I see it as a phenomenon much like the election of Trump.
People are sick of political business as usual.
She beat a Queens DNC party boss who had taken hard loads from corporate interests for two decades. She was outspent by like 20:1. Her constituents rejected business as usual and she trounced him.

That's sort of a mic drop.
I think it's a localized phenomenon. I've spent time in that district in a different life. I get it. I don't see anybody making this point at a national level. That not all Democrats need the DNC teat.
