Poor white people feel left out of the "new direction" the country is going in. Then there are middle class whites whom also feel left behind in the economic recovery, because they haven't felt the effects. That's why they support him.

Also this '64 President Johnson (Lyndon) may help explain it as well, "If you can convince a poor white man that he is better than a less poor black man, you can put your hand in his pocket and rob him blind."

You're not the only one who is embarrassed about having Trump as the Republican front-runner, and I'm an American! I don't see how the ones who support him can stand to do so! He's an embarrassing person in general. If I was in Ivankas' shoes, I'd be politically disassociating from him! And the man can't even keep a wife...

Never been more happy I am not an American. Both choices are terrible to be honest. Hillary is just as crazy for different reasons and arguably if she was not among the ruling elite she would be in prison right now. The US will never be democratic till they put a space on the ballot for "screw this. None of the above."
