With each day Trump is in office, the odds of HRC getting charged go down, I think, at least until he completely drains the swamp and gets rid of all ethical prosecutors, or just starts dealing with his enemies like his buddy Kim does.

@MistyCee its a matter of pulling the plug. the plug is sessions and rosenstein. all trump has to do is fire rosenstein and we get rid of both of them. then the swamp starts to drain.
@akindheart And you're that sure it's going to better with loyalists occupying the swamp?
@Gwangi let's hope. Thing is, he may not leave without a fight, and many of his followers are pretty crazy ... And dangerous.
Draining the swamp is some pretty sick shit, and even though Trump just toys with stuff like wanting state run media and presidency for life, lots of his followers believe him, and they're armed and are being prepared for the showdown with their enemies.

Yes. I suspect that he will eventually do that ... just clear out the DOJ executive suite.
BUT ... he also knows that it's unlikely that he will get a senate confirmation on any of their replacements, so I suspect that he will see how the November elections go and play it from there. In the meantime he can drain the swap backwards to assure there are no Clinton/Obama loyalist next in line if and when Rosenstein gets fired.
I still can't believe Sessions recused himself and left the DOJ populated with so many Obama/Clinton loyalist.

@Heartlander The GOP will have a bigger majority in the Senate after the midterms so it should be easier to get nominees confirmed.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@eli1601 I think so .... For all the cheering and hooting we see by the MSM predicting a Democrat senate in November, there are a lot of Democrat incumbents in conservative states that will probably be flipped.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@Heartlander that was without a doubt planned. and when sessions threatened the president that if rosenstein goes, he goes. i would have said dont' let the door hit you in the ass.

@akindheart sessions is an interesting character. He did the right thing by recusing, and by and large, he and Rosenstein have let Mueller run the investigation the way he wants to. But invoking the Bible to separate families and imprison children is a bit of a stretch, so he loses points there.
