Both men seem the best of buddies but how does that leave their supporters? Reeling I bet!

Nothing he does surprises his supporters these days. I read a comment from a very angry man the other day that basically said, "You know why we love Trump? Because he gets under the skin of faggots like you! I don't care what he does and long as it bothers you people."

That's one guys voice... but it's also a pretty good assessment of the entire situation. A friend of mine who supports Trump (yes, still friends. Our friendship will last longer than his time in office, even if he does 2 terms so we try to avoid talking about it) said once that people who support him take him seriously but not literally and people who hate him take him literally but not seriously.

Interesting to think about.

@Angelfire21 Good comment and an example that I think is more common than not. They seem to feel they're on a 'team.' That's where they derive their sense of strength. Anything that upsets the other team must be good. They don't seem to comprehend that because of that mentality they're being systematically led to slaughter. Trump has done zero for the "real Americans" he claims to love yet it doesn't matter. As long as they have their belief and feelings that's enough.
