Sonia Sotomayor is an idiot

How can you compare illegal immigration to stealing office supplies?

And just think, this idiot is a Supreme Court Justice

Might not be the best idea to read a headline on a winger site and repeat it without mentioning the context. You didn't look in to that, did you? I'll help you out.
She didn't directly compare illegal immigration with stealing office supplies. She was talking about punishment fitting the severity of the crime. I'd say you should watch the clip, of that EXTRAORDINARILY SMART person, but I know you won't.

@Ynotisay People love to repeat the daily mantra from the wingnut sites, so the other loyalists can jump up and down and repeat the mantra. Context is not their friend, but then again, there is no reason they would know that.
@Ynotisay i did watch the clip and she is an idiot

@Harley4Life No you didn't. You NEVER would have posted that if you had. Otherwise you'd be embarrassing yourself. Don't lie and then lie again dude. That's just not the way to play the game.

@Ynotisay Well, lie and lie again and then lie again works for trump over and over again. Why wouldn't it work for a trump wannabee like Harley?

@windinhishair It seems to be the mentality, huh? It's the lack of self-respect that I don't get.

@Ynotisay People tend to think of Trump as a one-off, but his continued assault on democracy is creating a whole segment of society that does not use reason, facts, or compassion in decision making. These folks seem to think that name-calling and discrimination is not only to be tolerated, but glorified. If it keeps up, Trump will just be the first of a line of dictators with the full support of the right.

@windinhishair And that speaks directly to one of my favorite quotes. It's by Issac Asimov and it's more true today than when he wrote it.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

@Ynotisay An excellent quote, and so very true.
@Ynotisay no i did watch it and I did read the article that was with it. She is a fucking idiot
Ynotisay · M
@Harley4Life If you posted that, AFTER watching that interview, then you're living in a world that doesn't exist. I don't get that man. I really don't.

@Ynotisay you're talking to a rock
