Summit: What actually happened, if not what was promised?

Okay people, the US/NK 'summit' is all done and dusted...Here's the take from pretty much everyone who is looking in, and what was none negotiable before it:

They both have basked in the coverage and if that was the desired outcome, it's worked. The rest is very broad strokes of the brush with no 'deal'. Past presidents have refused to meet the NKs and negotiate any withdrawal from SK unless NK eliminates its nuclear weapons. It seemed before Trump went to Singapore that that too was the deal breaker; NK absolutely must get rid of its nuclear weapons, and have it overseen now and in the future..

That isn't what has happened. Instead the fat kid has said he wants to see work towards the entire peninsula de-nuclearised, and (and this is the bit lost in the small print). Withdrawal of the US from SK..

Trump has announced he'll stop US military exercises with SK (Pre condition from the fat kid), but hasn't demanded NK get rid of its nuclear weapons (Pre condition from Trump) and the fat kid hasn't offered to do so.

Denuclearization wouldn't happen overnight no matter who made that type of agreement.
This is a first step..
War games are not essential and they can be resumed at any time.
The 28 thousand U.S. troops stationed in South Korea equal less than 5 percent of South Korean military strength...
Even if they're withdrawn, Guam is only hours away with the ability to unleash devastating bombings with our B52s and stealth bombers stationed there..

There have been important firsts here with Kim's visit to the South, something no north Korean leader has done since the armistice...
I would like to see a peace treaty signed with the South.
Along with verifiable dismantling of ICBM capabilities as a first move foward..

I'm hoping this is real but so far there's very little concrete planning to be seen..
As i said, this is a first step, it's happened before, let's see where it goes this time..

@SW-User There's no timetable for anything. Zero. All that Trump has said is the war games will stop with absolutely nothing from the fat kid. He must be happier than a clam.

@HerKing
I think i heard that there will be follow-up negotiations..
They met for a few hours..
It's not possible to complete such a complexed agreement in so short a time and anyone who though that would happen isn't being realistic..
They have an agreement in principle...
Sanctions are still in place.
Trump suspended war games...

Setting out a time table along with a process for verification and prioritized goals for meeting that time table will itself take months of planning..

@SW-User I agree...And Trump ends war games with SK..And got what exactly?

Well considering our next scheduled joint military exercise with South Korea would normally be in or around February of next year.
What did he really give up?

@SW-User There is a joint exercise scheduled for later this year. The SK's official statement was 'surprised' at Trump's statement. The commander of the US contingent in SK said as far as they're concerned, it's still going ahead. Obviously they didn't get the memo..

@TheeOriginalEXLover Firstly I know nothing about being POTUS, but then neither does Trump. He knows it means a private jet to go golfing every weekend (He wasn't going to have time, remember? So far, he's on course for going more than Obama, Clinton and Bush combined).

He also gets a big black bullet proof car to get driven around in...Rallies every couple of months to get his adoration fix from the regular cultists, a phone he can tweet about what he sees on Trump news each day, pretty much disregard for the norms and protocols that the office of POTUS requires, ability to abuse and denigrate on a whim anyone who he even imagines isn't 110% loyal to him (Pence takes it to extremes and mirrors his gestures-I'm embarrassed for him, such obsequious behavior is deeply disturbing); What else?

Oh yes. Trump doesn't even care that the fat kid starves the people, has them murdered, and is pretty much carrying on the legacy of his father and grandfather in being one of the worst, vile, disgusting pieces of garbage that ever drew oxygen.. Trump even had the temerity to say that the NK people had 'great fervor', what the hell does that mean? They have a say? That they exemplify the human spirit? And if that wasn't bad enough he even suggested a condo on a NK beach-Presumably he'd consider having one of his Russian oligarch friend finance and launder the cash for a golf course there too?

As for knowing nothing of the world...Listen son, I'm twice your age, and know the world the hard way. I suggest you put away your Trump cult flag and hat, and wake up and smell the coffee. Trump is an immature, emotionally childish and intellectually barren example of a sociopathic narcissist whose only (and this is important to know) need and raison d'être is to have unconditional adoration and supine devotion facing his way...Why do you think he admires dictators and despots (He calls 'strong') but has contempt for democratically elected leaders? One day he might be calling on the US allies for help the way G W Bush had it offered to him after 9/11; But this time, Trump may find they're too busy, or just turn the other way... Trump is a bully, but like ALL bullies, he's a coward. Hence why he dodged the call up for Vietnam five times, yet could still play football..

So yeah, to quote you young man. Shut the fuck up.

@TheeOriginalEXLover Why do you claim stuff that is easily disproved?

"But since taking office, Trump has been a regular visitor at his own golf clubs in Florida and Virginia. In his first year as president, Trump outpaced Obama in the amount of time he spent on the green, our Trump Golf Tracker shows.
Our tally of Trump’s time on the green is likely an undercount. Here’s why.

The White House has on several occasions declined to confirm he played golf while spending the day at his golf club. So in some cases, we have to rely on reporters’ observations and those of private citizens who spotted Trump on the course and posted pictures on social media.

For example, on May 12, Trump was spotted golfing at Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, Va., by another person also playing golf.

"Just a run of the mill day playing golf with the President @ Trump National in DC. @realDonaldTrump," it said."

@TheeOriginalEXLover You said the quote I posted was wrong...So you post whatever it is supports your belief that Obama played more golf in the same time frame as Trump...Easy.

And as for giving me advice son...It's okay, I'm good. I don't go for vain lads who can't pass a mirror.

@TheeOriginalEXLover You're right...You did post a bogus allegation. And you saying you don't care is disingenuous BS, you cared enough to make your boy appear good and less profligate with his use of AF1.
