Do u believe that White privilege actually exists ? 💡

For example. If an officer stops a person of color they are 3 times more likely to be harassed or shot by a cop. Or discriminated against. Or charged and given a higher life sentence for the same offense. You've seen how race has become an issue over the past few years especially in the US. Do you believe that white privilege exists.

Certainly not. What is completely ignored is the reasons the person was stopped and the reaction of that person to being stopped. My instinct is to get along with the police and try to help them do a thankless job. As a result I have not had so much as a traffic ticket for over 40 years. A friend of mine has difficulty with police and I watched him get his face smashed into his truck door when he refused a simple lawful request by the police.
