@BlueRain that was probably the stupidest thing Australia ever did was ban our right to bear arms, and did it take away gun related deaths in AU? No. Someone shot 7 people dead in WA (Western Aus) two months ago, we had the gangland war in Melbourne which 33 people murdered were all from gunshot wounds. We had a shooting in Melbourne in 2007, one dead one wounded but a gun was used. Oh and let’s not forget about the drive by shootings that happen frequently in the neighbourhoods of South West Sydney.
Gun laws sure worked didn’t they? Lol

@SW-User If laws stopped gun deaths the law making it illegal to commit murder would have done the trick. When you take people's guns away the only people with guns are the criminals. No, not here.

@SW-User I agree with you. The strange thing is none of that makes it to our news media. No reason for even one death.

How do the cops fight back?

@BlueRain oh the cops and the military are allowed to carry guns. All states except Vic police carry the glock 9mm, Vic police carry the Taurus 9mm and Victoria police were the last state to phase out the .38 smittys for semi autos.

@katielass I agree, the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
