For Australia, the baby bonus which the government handed out $6000 per child born. And now we have a generation of single mums and deadbeat “sperm donor” dads amongst the Australian millennial population.

@FreeSpirit1 not really, Australia has an unknown statistic of the “working class poverty line” where we work full time but our wage doesn’t cover the cost of living here.
In Australia, dying is a lot cheaper than living lol.

@FreeSpirit1 either way, it was the governments idea to boost population growth as many AU millennials turned away from having children because the cost of living just made parenting feel like an extra financial burden.
