the president has the power to pardon anyone. The only exception to that power is his own impeachment he can't pardon himself from that. So he's not being impeached, he has the power to pardon himself per the Constitution of the crime he's being investigated for at this time. Although if he does pardon himself Congress will probably impeach him.

@SW-User This has not been ďecided. The language using "grant" means 'to give' which isn't used when applying something to oneself, or so goes one legal argument. As no one has pardoned himself, this issue will definitely come up for legal review.
