Winning? SAD!

So far this week...

Trump has suggested - you know, that lover and defender of the US Constitution - that any NFL player who kneels during the national anthem "shouldn't be in the country."

Has lost a federal appeal and may not block Twitter users from his feed because, as most all of us know, it's a public site. Still holding sacred that 1st Amendment.

Has suggested that the Democrats are "sticking up for" MS-13, apparently the only gang to have ever existed. Because what he cannot and will not understand is that while we all want to eradicate gangs, referring to them as less than human not only precludes looking for a rational long-term solution but also alienates the very community whose help he needs in doing this.

...and has gone from threatening to "decimate" Lil' Rocket Man" to the incredibly vacillatory "We'll see what happens. Right now we're looking at it, we're talking about it. And they're talking to us. We have certain conditions. We'll see what happens. But there's a good chance." All while heading right back into stand-off mode.

No major debate point here. Simply utter astonishment that not only have we elected an unprecedentedly incompetent man for the nation's highest office, there are actually citizens who applaud his idiocy and condone his behavior.

MS-13 is about the only thing he knows, because this is what the right wing TV heads focus on.

I am not at all surprised with his rhetoric. It plays well to his base. I used to think it's theatrics on his part, but he seems to be the real deal, a racist, xenophobe, misogynist conman.

As to Rocket Man, anyone who knows anything about N. Korea, advised him to first negotiate a deal, make sure it's clear what's being agreed to, and then meet with KJU to sign it.

He made fun of all these people, and said that he does not need advise from people who failed, whereas he's succeeding. His "Dear John" letter, reads like something a Mafia Don would write, including the not so subtle threat to flatten N. Korea. I wonder what would happen to S. Korea is we nuke N. Korea.

We know exactly how KJU acts. I mean, FFS, he assassinated his own brother, in a very public way, and his own uncle and members of his family. He is not an honorable man, but I guess, as far as Mafia "norms" go, Don Corleone is an honorable man, so that's cool with Trump.

So, when someone says that the blame, or part of the blame, goes to KJU, I start laughing hysterically. It only reminds me of that old story about the frog and the scorpion... KJU is going to do what KJU does, the blame is on the juvenile showman, we put in charge, for providing a world stage and a spotlight for Rocket Man.

This would not be different from claiming that he's building The Wall, and calling the NYT and WaPO fake news, for questioning that claim. In his own mind, just because he said it will be done, it is done.

Being President is NOT the same as being a CEO of a private company.

@Northwest Well, I trust we'll be safe. After all, "he alone" can fix things and it's, according to him, it's not that difficult.

@Graylight I know, I don't get how no one, prior to him, couldn't get these simple things do.

However, who knew that healthcare could be so complicated?
