Winning? SAD!

So far this week...

Trump has suggested - you know, that lover and defender of the US Constitution - that any NFL player who kneels during the national anthem "shouldn't be in the country."

Has lost a federal appeal and may not block Twitter users from his feed because, as most all of us know, it's a public site. Still holding sacred that 1st Amendment.

Has suggested that the Democrats are "sticking up for" MS-13, apparently the only gang to have ever existed. Because what he cannot and will not understand is that while we all want to eradicate gangs, referring to them as less than human not only precludes looking for a rational long-term solution but also alienates the very community whose help he needs in doing this.

...and has gone from threatening to "decimate" Lil' Rocket Man" to the incredibly vacillatory "We'll see what happens. Right now we're looking at it, we're talking about it. And they're talking to us. We have certain conditions. We'll see what happens. But there's a good chance." All while heading right back into stand-off mode.

No major debate point here. Simply utter astonishment that not only have we elected an unprecedentedly incompetent man for the nation's highest office, there are actually citizens who applaud his idiocy and condone his behavior.

The president is a clear and present danger to the nation. He proves it every single day. He has no problem destroying our institutions in a desperate attempt to stop the Mueller investigation. He will not succeed.
@windinhishair
He will not succeed
I agree with the rest, but I'm not so sure about this part. I'll be happy if you're right, though, and more happy when he's out of office, for whatever reasons that may be.

edited. I had the wrong stuff in the clipboard.

@MistyCee I'm betting on the 60% of the nation that remains opposed to the abomination in the White House. If the 40% wins, we're in deep trouble as a nation.
@windinhishair Thing is, the 40% won once, and now they're dealing the cards, and complaining about deep state cameras watching the dealer as well as the players.

@MistyCee Absolutely. Maybe I am too optimistic, but I just can't believe that evil will win out a second time.
