If trump's phone carries important/government related information, then legally, Trump has to use a government sanctioned phone. However, if he isn't, it's his own personal property, and he has a right to use it. All because he's president doesn't mean he loses the right to have a personal phone. Not to mention to fact that a server and a phone are two different things, a phone receives and sends information to and from a server, while a server, is well, a server.
