Why is it liberals allow you to have your own opinion as long as it matches theirs?

I really enjoy how completely judgemental they are. Heaven forbid I actually use common sense and have an open mind

Both sides are intractable in this divisive culture right now. To say one side is flexible and the other rigid is to add to the divisiveness.

@Graylight I respectfully disagree. As an old school liberal- ive only been blocked and viciously maligned by what passes as the 'left'

@SW-User the definition of liberals is so broad, when conservatives say “liberals” they should be more specific.
Plus, everybody can say what they like, criticism is not preventing people from speaking. People are being too weak and not arguing back, but being passive aggressive.

@SW-User true. Although it is hard to have a discussion with someone who is acting like a rabid dog

I guess I get the current usage and am not overly defensive. So while I consider myself a liberal -I didn't interpret this post to mean me

@SW-User no it doesnt mean you, he is just another rabid conservative. His comment is completely irrational.

@SW-User See now, I could say the same. I really think it happens abundantly on both sides.

@Graylight I can only talk to my experience as an old school left leaning libertarian. I find both sides can be equally dogmatic and condescending but only one side is on some kind of rabid moral high where everyone who disagrees with them (even on one thing out of five) is a bad person. Smacks of re-education camps.
