Why is it liberals allow you to have your own opinion as long as it matches theirs?

Modern liberals believe in a certain agenda - for example, anti-racism, gay rights, government intervention to support poorer people - and despise or ignore those who disagree with them. Although the components of the agenda are for the most part liberal, the intolerance of opposition is illiberal. Of course there’s nothing wrong, necessarily, with being intolerant of opinions you disagree with. But it’s not liberal!
