MS13 immigration into the US increased 15 fold with the encouragement of the Obama administration. Eric Holder even provided them with assault weapons with his Fast and Furious program.

Considering how the US liberal news media has been encouraging Hamas to invade Israel lately, the attempt to connect Trump with murdering Jews is really another grasp at straws.
@Heartlander Nobody “encouraged” gang members to immigrate here—that’s a lie and indicative of conservative hatred towards Obama. Trump’s hatred and connection with Israel murdering Palestinians is more apt.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@bijouxbroussard So how else would you account for the 15 fold increase?
@Heartlander I’m not pro illegal immigration and have said so many times. Obama took a lot of flack for deporting people who were here illegally—following federal law. But conservatives don’t acknowledge that, for some reason. That’s why I say it’s personal hatred against Obama. Trump doesn’t even acknowledge it, because it doesn’t fit his narrative, either.

Dude come on. Where is this silliness even coming from?

Eric Holder even provided them with assault weapons with his Fast and Furious program.
Fast and Furious guns went to Mexico.

@Heartlander Obama deported more than all the past presidents combined.

Fast and Furious helped walk assault weapons into Mexico, not necessarily just to Mexicans. MS13 is a US/LA gang with links through Mexico and Central America.

Here's just one way the Obama administration helped propel and entrench MS13 in the US:

Yes, but you failed to mention that his policies allowed more slip through the cracks and the net effect was that more illegal/undocumented aliens gained entry than all the past presidents combined.

The rationale for more illegals/undocumented will become apparent with the 2020 census. For every 750,000 +/- that were slipped in, Democrats will likely gain an additional seat in congress, with some other state losing a seat. Apportionment (the number of house seats a state gets) is determined by population distribution, without regard to whether one is or isn't a legal citizen.

In effect, illegals will be represented in congress, but will have no vote to determine who represents them. It's sort of like when they use fake Social Security numbers and pay FICA/FUTA taxes, they earn no social security or unemployment benefits. Isn't this much like what Democrats did to Black Americans for 100 years after the Civil War?
@Heartlander And like Republicans do to blacks now by trying to keep them from voting ?
Einstok · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard Can you explain this one? How is requiring IDs keeping Blacks from voting?
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@EinstokThere are INS requirements for employers to require proof of citizenship or work permit when hiring someone. Employers who fails to verify an employee's legal status can be fined.

I have yet to read about anyone, regardless of race, protest this requirement, claiming it's racist, or intended to keep people from being hired.
@Einstok This is one example:
In North Carolina, Republican lawmakers requested data on various voting practices, broken down by race. They then passed laws that restricted voting and registration in five different ways, all of which disproportionately affected African Americans. Among other things, they cut back on early voting.[21] Later, the North Carolina GOP sent out a press release celebrating the decline in early voting by African Americans.[22][23] Early voting is important for voters who do not have flexible working hours and cannot take time off on a weekday to vote.

This is another:
In 1998, Florida created the Florida Central Voter File to combat vote fraud documented in the 1997 Miami mayoral election. Many people were purged from voter registration lists in Florida, because their names were similar to those of convicted felons, who are not allowed to vote under Florida law. According to the Palm Beach Post, African-Americans accounted for 88% of those removed from the rolls but were only about 11% of Florida's voters.[20] This may have cost Al Gore the presidency in the 2000 US presidential election.

Yet another:
Closing local branches of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) makes it harder for residents to obtain voter IDs. In 2014, Alabama passed a law requiring a photo ID to vote; soon afterwards, the state shut down dozens of DMV offices in minority neighborhoods.[33][34]

@bijouxbroussard Since African Americans overwhelmingly vote for Democrats, especially in the South, doesn't this make sense? It's nasty sure. We should all just vote absentee. It's easier. No lines.
@Einstok I suppose dirty tricks make sense when people want to win, but they deny that they do that. The GOP took the teeth out of the 1965 Voter's Rights Act, because they said it was "no longer necessary since there were fewer instances of disenfranchisement of black voters". There were fewer examples when compared with the 1960s, but that was because of the Act preventing them---not because people weren't still making the attempt.
Einstok · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard They are politicians. You can't expect them to be good people.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
And there you have it.. The sad indictment of the truth. You CAN expect your politicians to be good people.. But you have to give enough of a crap to go and vote out the ones who aren't.. If you don't, its your own damned fault and gets you people like Trump elected. Now suck it up and do better next time, if he bothers with another election...@Einstok
@Einstok So are you saying that disenfranchising blacks is acceptable and people should just take it because politicians are bad people ? You asked for examples and I gave you some. But that's why a majority of black don't trust Republicans. The GOP always lean on what was done to blacks during Jim Crow by Southern conservative Democrats while ignoring what they do to blacks in the 21st century.
Einstok · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard Nope. I am saying fight it with everything we have. I am just saying requiring ID isn't necessarily a bad thing. Let's get people IDs. Blacks don't trust the GOP? Good. What worries me is that many do trust Democrats.
@Einstok Mostly (based on people I know) it's more a case of the lesser of two evils. The Democratic platform supports labor unions, healthcare and access to education, as well as help for low-income citizens. The GOP likes to shame people who are poor, but many use the help as a hand up and not a handout. You just don't hear about them because "black welfare recipient" is a long cherished conservative narrative.
