@Graylight every class has their crap, don't they but i live in the middle of the "crap" storm so I know first hand what these immigrants are doing.

I live outside the city work inside the city. My city while one of the largest seems to have less of an illegal alien issue than ofpther big cities. The illegal aliens in the suburbs are acclimating well, working, buying houses, etc. @akindheart

@akindheart @jackjjackson First, no I wasn't there to see the first immigrants denigrated. It's what we call history. I wasn't at the American Revolution, either. However, I do have family from off the boat, so if you'd like to share stories sometime, Jack Jackson, I'd be happy to.

That nonsense aside, I live in a town of 65000 resident, almost 65% of them considered minorities. In that group, and apart from that group, there are also many legal immigrants. We just got an influx of 200,000 Puerto Ricans to our state as a result of the hurricanes.

These people are business owners, families, county government employees, teachers. Some are on welfare, some commit crime, and some sell drugs. This can be said of any nationality or population. Not every society and culture prizes the same material goods and ethics that others do. But since you're not the boss of the country, you don't get to dictate the terms. You can choose to be part of the melting pot or you can create a crucible.

Of course, is xenophobia and ignorance are also a choice.

@Graylight the reference was there. and the truth from where i live is that the immigrants are out of control. for every "innocent" immigrant, i can point to 5 that are not. they are using and abusing our systems. IF they worked and IF they paid their way, ok but the majority don't especially where i live.

i was recently in a mediation. The Haitian lady had 17 claims. 17 and brought her daughter in to teach her the ropes. sickening. when the attorney asked her about the settlements, she said "but the money is all gone" hence number 17

Don’t let anyone get away with misusing the terms illegal alien, legal alien and legal immigrant. There are clearly defined term specificically defined in the immigration code which lists or defines no such status as an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT. That term is totally made up by the fringe left and propagated by the media. @akindheart
