How can you show respect to someone who doles out disrespect 24/7. I tend to believe it’s hypocrisy.
You may disagree with Obama or Bush or Reagan on policy, or execution, but never on respect.
With their personal conduct, I would not know how to show respect to someone like Trump or Clinton

A sensible line of reasoning. I’m disappointed in the President’s behavior that’s for sure. I should have known better based on his history. On the other hand there are some high powered people like General Mattis and Secretary Pompeo who I respect that are sticking with him so there must be something .... @Northwest

@jackjjackson I think Mattis is not going to last past November. I respect him. He considers this as part of his national service, and not a reflection of his politics or anything else.
