First, it wasn't a "Starbucks" decision; it was the action of a single manager.
And while she undoubtedly reacted with bias at least unconsciously, this manager isn't inherently evil or insidious. She's ignorant of better, more equitable means of acting towards people. The answer to ignorance is education, not derision and taunts.
