A federal judge recently ruled that AR-15's are not protected by the 2nd ammendment of the US constitution. Thoughts?

The AR 15 is only sold as a semi automatic rifle. Problem is that the AR 15 can easily be turned into a fully automatic machine gun, with parts easily purchased on the internet.

@WetpantsBoy thats true. The same can be accomplished with many other weapons simply with access to machining tools. That's illegal though, and hasnt been performed in any of the recent rampages, has it?

@Moosepantspatty Who needs machine tools when instructions and parts are readily available online. Converting a semi automatic to a machine gun is like assembling a simple puzzle, with new pieces that all snap together.
