@Madgirl I mean yeah, but liberalism isn't really a left-wing ideology, it's centrist at best. Outside of trumpism, the GOP is largely a liberal organization, at least in rhetoric. With some notable exceptions, they overwhelmingly support capitalist economics, free speech, and the rule of law. Liberalism is, at best, the right flank of leftist thought, with ideologies like socialism and anarchism at the left flank.

@BlueVeins well left and right is hardly a good system to describe the bandwith of political topic, but it boils down to it in a 2 party system. however important economical problems often get overshadowed by petty problems these days. the word "social justice" is viewed as something bad today cause people use it for every weirdo topic instead of economical equality
