The media is entirely owned, with only few exceptions, by conservative, corporate media.
Your basic premis, is the product of that mass media.

Corporate conservatism does not look the same as political conservatism.
The second is a tool of the first.

Nor does control ensure an overt message.

They own in the us alone,
9000+ Radio stations
1500+ TV stations
2400 + publishers
Networks, add agencies, websites uncounted
The same companies own media on BOTH sides of politics.
