How do you handle people on the other side that you like?

I can think of one or two people here whom I honestly like - but when they get on the subject of politics, they sound crazy (to me, anyway.) If you’re in a similar situation, how do you handle it?

I just ignore the most outrageous statements, and respond only to non-political posts.

Depends. I know I can get a little crazy myself, and if we can laugh about it and still disagree, it's fun as long as neither of us takes themselves too seriously.

Having said that, I've been blocked before and will be again, i'm sure. It only hurts when I think it's personal or my fault.
