How do you handle people on the other side that you like?

I can think of one or two people here whom I honestly like - but when they get on the subject of politics, they sound crazy (to me, anyway.) If you’re in a similar situation, how do you handle it?

I just ignore the most outrageous statements, and respond only to non-political posts.

Have your facts straight and not based emotions. Ask where and who did the facts come from and go to the source. Because there's always a sourcing. Nothing new under sun.
