Personally I’m good with the direction of the country and looking forward to the pending Democratic Party implosion.

This is getting more than a little weird. At the moment, the democratic party is still pretty much completely irrlevant, other than as a scapegoat for Trump.

They could implode, but its really hard for me to see that either party self destructing is a good thing for the other or the country in the long run.

But, on another note. who's that second guy?

I’m thinking a new more centrist party replacing the Dems who have gone way too far left. Trump has brought the GOP more toward the middle already. @MistyCee
@jackjjackson My guess is the demos will have an easier time keeping it together then the Republicans and picking up new voters.

Frankly, I think Republicans will have much harder choices. I don't see a split coming with the Democrats, but this new Republican "middle" under Trump is going to be hard to swallow and work with.

There's' way too much nose holding going on right now with the GOP. There may be a path to keep things together, but it's a lot thornier, IMO.

To each his own. The split between the fringe left and traditional democrats is larger. Can’t be held together. @MistyCee
@jackjjackson We'll see, I guess, but I'm willing to bet that, even if its suitably toned down, the Anti-Trump message is going to be something that can unite democratic leaders this time around, at least.

I'll give you, though, it would be a lot harder for them if Trump behaved himself, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of that happening.

True. However there is a long time and a lot that may happen prior to 2020. @MistyCee

@jackjjackson someone is completely oblivious to the news. of course there's a dem split. The frankenstein/pelosi wing or the ever more revulsive even more extreme left. Which faction will win.

I think ultimately the loud left will bring the Dems down. @katielass
