Explain to me how he was traitorous? The investigation ended, and while the Russians did try to interfere, no collusion was found, in fact it is being discovered that Russia did it to both sides, which makes sense, trying to raise tension and whatnot.

Unlawfulness? The only unlawfulness is California refusing to rid their sanctuary cities, but the liberal party seems to openly embrace California aiding the illegal immigrants.

Conspiracy to overthrow our democracy? I'm not sure what you're referring to, might want to elaborate on that.

Before you tell me that Russia did interfere majorly, let's remember that it was a few Russian bots spamming Pro-Trump messages. So if you're trying to tell me that Russian Bots speaking broken English had a better speaking campaign then Hillary Clinton, that should prove something is wrong there
Odette · 31-35, F
@FallenxShane Are you paying attention to the actions of our president? Enough said.
FallenxShane · 22-25, M
@Odette I see him cracking down on illegal immigration, trying to bring Industry back to the United States, he's standing up to a Tyrannical country that continues to threaten South Korea and the US. I see him taking action against countries that violate UN and Geneva policy. I may not agree with him constantly tweeting, and sometimes I do believe he should keep his mouth shut, but I see a President that isn't backing down to the whim of other countries. So why don't you explain to me what he is doing wrong? You're not providing any examples whatsoever.
Odette · 31-35, F
@FallenxShane Well there you go. I suspect the actions you consider as triumphs for Trump, I mostly consider as utter failures. We will never agree.

Again, you have diverted from the topic. I should be used to that tactic by now. So I'll play along. Once.

So why don't you explain to me what he is doing wrong?

Here's a few:
-No jobs bill.
-Raising taxes on millions of middle class households.
-Failing to propose an infrastructure bill.
-Ending DACA.
-Ending TPS.
-Exposing Intelligence security.
-Hollowing the State Department.
-Implementing a Muslim ban.
-Alienating allies.
-Rejecting International partnerships.
-Refusing to hold Russia accountable.
-Banning transgender Americans from serving in the military.
-Sabotaging ACA.
-Allowing CHIP to expire.
-Attacking women's health care.
-Undermining Medicaid.
-Making it more difficult for Americans to pay off student debt.
-Rescinding guidance for victims of sexual assault.
-Repealing protections for transgender students.
-Undermining worker's rights.
-Dismantling the Clean Power Act.
-Ending protections in the Clean Water Act.
-Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord.
-Attacking America's public land.

Just a few.

Again, I'd rather get back to the topic of my post rather than spouting right wing and left wing talking points.

Bye.

No man (or woman) is perfect, and certainly Comey had flaws, as do all of us; but he was for all intents and purposes, a good man who served his country with intelligence, honor, pride, respect and integrity.

Trump, on the other hand, is not a good, decent man, not one who serves with honor, dignity, nor with much of anything decent. He is a narcissistic egomaniac with no morals, zero integrity and cares for but one person - himself. He uses everyone, his wife, daughter and sons included for his personal gain. He knows little, if anything, other than how to be ruthless. I am personally disgusted with him.
Odette · 31-35, F
@frequentlyme I'm beyond disgust.
SW-User
@frequentlyme Well said. Trump was not decent prior to taking the presidency and nothing has changed.
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
@Odette Loath may be a better word.
I think it's a long and winding road. Trump's house of lies does seem to have foundational problems, but so far, the noise from Republicans is still pretty quiet, and if Trump wants to finish his term, all he probably has to do is not fire Mueller and keep chipping away at facts, throwing out lies, and manufacturing culture war battles and other distractions. It probably wouldn't help his reelection, but he can probably avoid impeachment if he doesn't step over the line.

As far as the backlash against Republican collaborators goes, I think your right, that there will be a backlash, but I'm not sure it's too late for the GOP. They basically handed it over to Trump at the Convention, but they might still be able to take it back in the long run if they run an opposition candidate at their convention and, assuming he loses, make the right call and say vote for anyone but Trump, even the Democrat.

If they don't, and if they continue to support Trump and his lies, yeah, the GOP will end, and get crushed and replaced.
@Odette I agree with you that they should, but I don't see it happening in numbers until Trump does something like fire Comey.
Odette · 31-35, F
@MistyCee Mueller?
@Odette oops, Mueller. Thanks
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
We know Comey is not on the up and up and have considerable evidence of his lying under oath. I don't believe a word he says anymore on any subject let alone Trump. I suspect that Comey and McCabe may be best buds in prison soon.
Well said. I agree.
Odette · 31-35, F
@Underconstruction It's staggeringly mind-boggling that they stand by and are silently complicit.
SW-User
history will not be kind to DJT, that's for sure

@room101 as should be the case
Odette · 31-35, F

Northwest · M
For me, I realized it, when he was taking the oath, to protect the country.
Odette · 31-35, F
@Northwest Right?! GOP needs to pay attention. I wish Republicans and Democrats would stand as one to support and defend our democracy against this treasonous POTUS. Am I too optimistic?
AyDiosMio · 31-35, M
“Starting” I’ve never thought he was going to succeed in the White House.
SerenitiesScars · 36-40, M
Anyone who talks as you do is clearly as liberal as it gets... You think your spectrum and the way you see things is always "The one chosen path" and can't understand those that support the opposition are seeing everything they were promised becoming fulfilled... So sorry not sorry, but we're pretty satisfied with the liberal corruption being taken out one person at a time...
SerenitiesScars · 36-40, M
@frequentlyme If you don't see it then you choose not to see it.. I already see you vindicating comey, who is a fucked up piece of shit and as corrupt as they come... Your eyes are twisted.. Where we see corruption you see heroes.. You support wickedness.. Our side doesn't like the corrupt shit you all choose to vindicate.. It's as simple as that you... Liberals call right wrong, and wrong right... We know how you do..

Enjoy your hypocrisy while it lasts..

@Odette Lol! You're pretty much just flat out admitting your liberal mindset... As young as you are and what you've even had the chance to vote for I'm sure there's not much "Republican" voting you've even done.. That's called a cop out.. Nice try though...
Odette · 31-35, F
@SerenitiesScars Unlike you, I try my best to be a testament to decency and reason instead of partisan politics. Grow up.
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
@SerenitiesScars Like I said... use facts. I know you can't. Thanks for proving me right.
Graylight · 51-55, F
I don't suppose you're running for office. 'Cause you probably should.
Odette · 31-35, F
@Graylight Maybe we can tag team here. I need to pick up my daughter.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Odette Aw. Go get some good love from your little one; I'm always around.
Ynotisay · M
I like the capitalization of The End.
I agree.
Odette · 31-35, F
@Ynotisay You noticed!!! 😀
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
I knew that 6 months before he became the republican nominee and people like hannity and levin were saying he'd be the worst president ever.. I remember thinking how they were gonna have to eat those words if he became the nominee and had to endorse him... now they are stuck in thier hypocrisy
Odette · 31-35, F
@Deadcutie Republicans need to find their backbone and do the right thing.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@Odette they have none, how can they find one?

the only RIGHT they know is to cover their asses.

@AnnieMal This is neither a conservative nor a liberal issue. It's about taking a stand for American principles, representative government and right vs wrong. Oh yes, time will tell.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@Odette it has been for years... and time may tell but people are NOT LISTENING!
3Dogmatic · 46-50, M
Well, it was him or Hillary, so trying to pick a winner between those two is like trying to pick up a turd by the clean end.
frequentlyme · 70-79, M
@3Dogmatic Can you say "lame"?
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@Odette it's the usual conservative diversion.

little they know they're being fuckered also.
katielass · F
@Odette You're right, there is no comparison between the hildebeast and president Trump. He has integrity.
SW-User
Oh boy 🙄
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
he's never been.

i got tired of his trust fund brat arrogance in the 80s.

i'm surprised people are stupid enough to vote such a pain in the ass nitwit into office.

we're all paying for this in the long run.

voters are fucked up in the priorities.
katielass · F
You must have missed the part where comey broke the law by leaking. He has little to no credibility but it appears his strategy is working with the useful idiots, just as it was designed to do.
SW-User
He's a disgusting amoral sadist.
@SW-User ooh, a Sadist. Is this from Stormy?
